Iran confidently claim their 4th successive Asian Indoor title following a decisive 8-0 showcase as they defeated Uzbekistan in the grand final in Saraburi Thailand. Following the pool competition, Iran moved into the finals having won all their matches and scoring 58 goals in the process.

This is Uzbekistan's best indoor result, having been bronze medalists for the last 3 tournaments.

It was also the first time that Chinese-Taipei had participate in the Men’s Indoor Asia Cup, continuing to increase the participation in this form of the game.

Thailand continue to show their class, following a superb performance as tournament hosts for yet another AsHF event. The competition was held in a new venue for indoor hockey in Saraburi, a city just outside Bangkok.
