Pakistan claim a thrilling Asian Champions Trophy

In a breath-taking final where momentum bounced between both sides, Pakistan showed they were the most resilient Asian nation as they wrestled the Asian Champions Trophy from reigning champions, India. The Al Rayyan Stadium in Doha showed the phenomenal sporting culture of Qatar, with the packed stadium left electrified with the pace and skill shown by both teams.

The lead changed hands three times before Pakistan scored the game winning goal as they re-took the lead in the 64th minute through Ateeq Muhammad to win the final 5-4.

Chinese-Taipei claim their first international tournament

Chinese-Taipei won their ever senior hockey title as they defeated Hong Kong China 2-1 in an action packed final at the Women’s AHF Cup in Singapore.



After a dominant tournament, winning all their matches and scoring a total of 37 goals while only conceding 4 in their campaign.



Thailand placed in third, following their 6-3 defeat of Sri Lanka. Singapore secured 5th place with a 3-0 win over Pakistan.

Iran retains Asian indoor title

Iran confidently claim their 4th successive Asian Indoor title following a decisive 8-0 showcase as they defeated Uzbekistan in the grand final in Saraburi Thailand. Following the pool competition, Iran moved into the finals having won all their matches and scoring 58 goals in the process.



This is Uzbekistan's best indoor result, having been bronze medalists for the last 3 tournaments.



It was also the first time that Chinese-Taipei had participate in the Men’s Indoor Asia Cup, continuing to increase the participation in this form of the game.

There are 30 nations within the AsHF, with an additional 13 joining to form the OCA. The AsHF are responsible for the development of some of the hockey communities most successful nations, including; China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea.
