Indian player profiles

Competing in the largest of the hockey federations, the Indian men and women have both shared tremendous success throughout the Asian Hockey Federation. They replicated this success on the world scale when hockey first became a permanent fixture at the Olympic Games in 1928 claiming 8 gold and 1 silver medal. However, the Indian national sides have not been able to replicate any such success since the 60's.
